Drivers heading to Porthleven via the Penzance Road have been redirected following an incident this morning (Saturday).
On the second day of the popular Porthleven Food Festival, police were called to reports of a van on its roof on the A394 at around 6am this morning.
The road was closed while emergency services worked to clear the scene.
According to Devon and Cornwall Police, no serious injuries were sustained by the van driver and said that the road should be open "fairly soon".
A source who works in Porthleven told the Packet that he had to be redirected back to Helston, and to come back into the village via the B3304 Porthleven Road.
Another source said: “There was quite a lot of debris on the road after the incident.”
Today marks the second day of the popular food festival, with thousands of people expected to descend on Porthleven throughout the day.
