MARTIN. – Douglas: Mary and family would like to sincerely thank everyone for their kind messages of sympathy at this sad time and everyone who attended Dougie’s funeral. We were truly overwhelmed to see you all and it brought us great comfort. Also thank you for your donations of over £300 to Penhaligon’s Friends given in his memory. Grateful thanks to the bearers who supported my son and daughter at the funeral. Our thanks to Reverend Geoffrey Knox for his compassion and kindness. Also Lee Mitchell, Sexton at Falmouth Cemetery & Michelle’s Flowers for their help. Thanks also to John Body, Mayor of Falmouth for his attendance. Doug as everyone knows, was so proud of being Mayor and really enjoyed his time on the Town Council. Thank you also to the Staff at Treliske Hospital, who looked after Doug and Roy and Robin at Penryn & Falmouth Funeral Directors, for their care and support to get us through this difficult time.
