Young businesses across the UK have just two days left to enter the regional press industry’s Local Business Accelerators campaign which aims to provide a unique boost to SMEs.
Supported by the Government and private sector’s Business in You campaign, LBA will see hundreds of businesses rewarded with a free ad campaign in their local paper and mentoring from local business leaders.
After national heats, one lucky winner will take home the overall prize of mentoring from Deborah Meaden, of the Dragons’ Den, and a clutch of other prizes including a year’s free membership CBI and free business advice from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Edinburgh-based eteaket, a regional winner from the first LBA, has expanded since taking part in the competition and opened a couple of pop up tea rooms in Japan earlier this month. Businesses can enter LBA via the www.accelerateme.co.uk portal before the deadline tomorrow (Friday 16 November).
