A new ladies clothing boutique for Mawnan has opened its doors to partner the village coffee shop that opened this summer.
Mawnan Maid, next door to the Cornish Maid coffee shop in The Square, was set up by local girl Sarah Bailey.
She said: “I saw a gap in the market what with the popularity of the cafe and the huge support from the village - the empty shop next door was beginning to look lonely.”
Sarah, whose husband Nick runs the seasonal Helford River Boats, was putting the finishing touches to her new store last week.
She said: “I am optimistic that along with passing trade my locals will continue to support me in all I am trying to achieve.
“In a village I believe it's all about providing people with a good service.
“We live in a fantastic place and Nick and I want to see The Square buzzing again!”
Mawnan Maid is open every day from 9am to 5.30pm selling “ladies clothing accessories and much, much more.”
