TWO groups of graduates from Falmouth University have played a part in the rebranding of a Cornish holiday park company.

Truro-based Kerdene has been updating its image using locally sourced talent in the form of Liminal Design and PixelRain, who are both run by university graduates.

Ryan McFarlane and Tim Hendy graduated in 2002 and their company, Liminal Design, based in Redruth, is now well established within the creative industry in Cornwall.

They have developed a new website for Kerdene and are currently producing new sales literature for the park owner.

Richard Stephens, Nick Pearson and Grant Batty are the brains behind PixelRain, based at Tremough in Penryn, and have produced the photography for Kerdene’s new sales literature and website.

They have also won the contract to produce video content for the company’s website in the spring.

Since its inception in 2000, Kerdene has contributed an estimated £3million to the local economy around their St Merryn Park and Rosewater Park in north Cornwall.

Now, as it undergoes a rebrand, the company is seizing the opportunity to boost the county’s creative industries.

“Our Cornish roots mean that we are committed to promoting and developing our county wherever possible,” said marketing manager, Nicky Lott.

“This includes using local businesses as we seek to update our image.”
