The Boathouse in Falmouth has been included in The Good Beer Guide, the UK's leading guide as to the best places to drink real ale, for the third consecutive year.

Co-owner, Nick Goodall, said: "We're delighted to be included in the guide. We work really hard to showcase great real ales, many from local breweries, so to get this recognition is a great testimony to the team and our commitment to real ale and craft beer. We're fortunate to have some great local breweries, including St Austell, Skinners of Truro, Black Rock of Falmouth, and Dartmoor, who regularly find themselves on the bar along with the likes of the Dynamite Valley Brewery."

The Boathouse is one of a select band of pubs in Cornwall, from a total of over 600 that will feature in The Good Beer Guide which is published annually by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA.) The guide is published following a strict judging process carried out by CAMRA members to decide which pubs have shown a year-round commitment to serving great real ale.

Nick added: “With less than ten per cent of UK pubs featured in this guide we’re proud to retain our position in this beer bible for real ale fans.”

The news comes just weeks after the team at The Boathouse, an independent freehouse, was named as winner of the title Best Bar Team 2015 for the South West region in the Great British Pub Awards 2015.
