Penryn-based Venn Creative have been shortlisted for three awards in two highly contested categories at the Media Innovation Awards, 2015. The design agency is also the only entrant to have been shortlisted for more than one award.

Venn Creative, which specialises in forward-thinking creative projects both online and in print, are up for awards in the Bbanding category and a further award in the web category.

The creative projects submitted for the Media Innovation Awards include Mosevic, a company producing familiar products re-imagined for creative souls; Cedar, a Canadian cold-pressed juice company; and Cultshare, a social media platform for people to record inspirations, share culture and feed their mind.

Zander Grinfeld, designer, said: “We are really excited to have reached the finals in the highly competitive and creative Media Innovation Awards. We are very proud of the projects that we have submitted for judging, all of which are already independently successful.

“We are passionate about working on forward-thinking brands, so it is great to have two projects shortlisted in that category. Cultshare, the social media platform, has had a lot of love poured into it, so to be recognised for its digital innovation is brilliant. We’d like to congratulate the other nominees too, it is a fantastic achievement to get this far.”

The Media Innovation Awards celebrate the innovative use of media and design in the UK and winners will be announced at Plymouth University on November 26.
