Ten members of staff at Flambards in Helston have recently completed their NVQ training. They all took part in the additional training which was delivered by Education + Training Skills (ETS) of Threemilestone and supported by the Convergence European Social Fund.
The staff completed a variety of workplace NVQs including customer service, first aid, health and safety and food safety.
Manager Richard Smith said: "We are pleased to invest in further training for our staff at Flambards. The training delivered by ETS was outstanding, enabling our valuable members of staff to progress in their careers and develop their transferable skills. We look to upskill and offer additional training qualifications to all our staff where possible. With the successful completion of these NVQs we will ultimately to be able to offer even better service to our visitors.”
Centre manager Carol Toms added: “We were delighted to have the opportunity of working with Flambards and it was great to see everybody achieve.”
