The countdown to the next Falmouth Classics yachting event has begun with the launch of a new responsive website. Together with a slightly updated brand, the whole event now has a clean, sharp and consistent look and feel.

The site, which was designed by Fastnet Marketing, allows competitors to easily enter their boats in to the race using the online entry system. In addition, Falmouth Classics merchandise, such as T-shirts and baseball caps, can also be purchased directly from the site. The annual Cornish event will take place from June 17 to 19.

Henry Roberts, chairman of the Falmouth Classics Association, said: “The new website is a fantastic tool for both competitors and spectators and we’re very pleased with the classic but modern design. It will provide an easy way for competitors to sign up to the race as well as to the ‘Parade of Sail and Power’ to which we also welcome classic rowing boats and motor launches.”

Sarah-Jayne Leverton, managing director of Fastnet Marketing, added: “We wanted to create an updated version of the website without losing the classic feel of this historical event, and make the entry process as easy and streamlined as possible. We hope the new site will encourage more people than ever before to get involved in this fantastic event.”
