Coastline Housing has appointed a new director of finance and director of development and commercial services.

Nathan Mallows has been appointed to the finance role and will join the company this month. He has previously worked as director of finance at Women’s Pioneer Homes and North Hertfordshire Homes, and in senior finance positions at A2 Dominion.

Nathan’s appointment follows the successful promotion of Coastline’s previous director of finance, Allister Young, to the post of CEO.

Chris Weston has been appointed as director of development and commercial services and will take up his post in March. He is currently operations director for Miller Homes, one of the UK’s leading housebuilders, where he is responsible for the southern region and has overseen a growth from 200 homes to a pipeline of 500 homes per year. He brings with him over 20 years’ experience and knowledge of development, construction and customer service in the private sector.

Chris will be driving Coastline’s development programme, which will bring over 700 much-needed new affordable homes to Cornwall by 2019.

Chairman of Coastline, Derek Law, said: “We are delighted to make two such strong appointments within our executive team and we believe they will both be a great asset to Coastline and its customers.”

Allister Young added: “Both Nathan and Chris very much fit Coastline’s culture and values, having a strong focus on customer service and our charitable purpose, combined with a sharp commercial focus.”

Coastline Housing is an independent, not-for-profit housing association owning and managing over 4,000 homes within Cornwall.
