Falmouth based Black Rock Brewing has created a new beer which is part of a limited seasonal release.
Newquay Brown is described as a "full bodied brown ale that is warming enough to keep the cold weather at bay, but with a low ABV of 3.8 per cent."
Brewery owner Jack Williams said: "A Newquay Brown is brewed with our brothers on the north coast in mind. An easy drinking, laid-back kind of beer, a session brown ale. Designed from the outset to be the perfect refreshment for wave-weary surfers at drive-to destinations. Our beta-testers are already crying out that it’s one of our best beers yet.
"We’re brewing these small beers in limited runs and demand is high, so often-times they’re going to be tricky to get hold of, but if you can get your hands on one, you’ll see it’s oh-so worth it."
Newquay Brown will be served at 5 Degrees West's St Piran's Ale Festival in Falmouth from March 3 to 6.
