Penryn-based bakery WC Rowe's fittingly opened its oven doors at its new outlet at Cornwall Services on the A30 on St Piran’s Day.
Complete with WC Rowe’s striking new gold and black livery, the outlet has been designed to reflect the strong Cornish heritage and values of the 67-year-old business, which has 24 shops and concessions throughout Cornwall and the South West.
The new bakery is unique, being based at an independent service station, allowing tourists and locals travelling in and out of the county a first and last pasty pit stop.
Matthew Pearce, retail director of WC Rowe said: “We are really delighted to be a part of Cornwall Services, providing a modern environment that adds a fresh perspective to our customers’ experience."
