Coodes Solicitors has enhanced its offer to businesses in and around Falmouth, by appointing a new commercial property lawyer. Tamsin Mann has joined the firm’s business services team and will be based in the Falmouth office, which opened last year following a merger with Preston Goldburn.

Tamsin grew up in Truro where she now lives with her husband and two children. As a mature student, she achieved a first class law degree from the University of Exeter and qualified with Stephens Scown, where she then specialised in commercial property and charity law.

She said: “Coodes is an established and well respected firm, which has entered an exciting stage in its history of assisting clients, so I am very much looking forward to being part of that.

“Having previously lived and worked in Falmouth, I have strong connections with the town. I am looking forward to supporting local businesses and charities to achieve their goals while helping Coodes build its profile in and around Falmouth.”

Tamsin will work closely with Coodes partner, Falmouth-based Henry Preston, and corporate and commercial solicitor Kirsty McAuley, who recently moved to the Falmouth office. She will also support Coodes partner and head of commercial property, Helen Willett, on cases across the firm’s network of offices.

Helen said: “Tamsin’s appointment and the growth of the Falmouth team is the latest development in our strategy of offering an enhanced service to meet the diverse range of legal challenges a business might face. As well as having a strong background in commercial property, Tamsin brings charity experience, which will be invaluable to many of our clients in the Falmouth area and further afield.”
