A recruitment consultant based in Falmouth won the "rookie of the year" award at a ceremony held at Madame Tussauds in London.
Katy Thomas is part of Berry Recruitment’s strong Falmouth team and picked up the trophy at the annual awards of Berry Recruitment Group (BRG). The group has more than 30 locations across England and Wales and more than 215 staff.
Katy was presented with her award by BRG chairman, Tony Berry, who congratulated her on the success during her first year in the role. He said: “Katy’s contribution to the group has been outstanding during her first year and she is very worthy of the award.”
Managing director Chris Chown addressed more than 160 guests and said: “The group continues to go from strength to strength and the 2015 performance was the strongest to date. The year saw fantastic acquisitions, strong organic growth and the development of two new onsite operations. From our 32 locations across England and Wales we achieved total sales of £60m, increasing by £11m."
