Falmouth University has been ranked 21 out of the UK’s 119 universities in the Guardian University Guide 2017.
Leaping ten places, Falmouth sees improved scores in graduate employability as well as student satisfaction in courses and teaching. This most recent ranking once again places Falmouth as the UK’s highest ranked arts' university, an accolade also given by the Sunday Times League Table 2016 and the Complete University Guide 2017.
Success in the subject ratings sees Falmouth climb up to fifth for business, management and marketing, eighth for design and crafts, ninth for fashion and textiles and 11th for film production and photography.
Professor Anne Carlisle, vice-chancellor and chief executive of Falmouth University, said: “This result, the highest league table position achieved in our entire history, reflects our strategic focus on student satisfaction, and getting graduates into great jobs. It is also a testament to our staff who deliver high quality teaching and support for our students. The university is in a truly exciting period of major development, and it is an honour to have our continued success recognised in the league tables.”
