The Penmorvah Manor Hotel in Budock Water near Falmouth has been awarded a coveted AA Rosette for food excellence.

The hotel is owned by Peter and Cheryl Risely, managed by Neil Slade, with chef Jenny Reed heading up the kitchen brigade. The AA Rosette, which is only awarded to around 10 ten per cent of UK restaurants, was given to the team after they impressed an AA inspector with the skill, care and excellent quality ingredients which go into their menu.

Neil said: “We are exceptionally pleased to gain this recognition. Our head chef Jenny and her team are really passionate about producing great quality food in a relaxed and informal Restaurant setting. We are all very proud of the service we offer at the Penmorvah Manor and the rosette award is testimony to the efforts of the entire team."

Peter and Cheryl Risely added: “This accolade is a real credit to the hard work and dedication of the team in providing our customers with exceptional food and consistently high standards of service. We are delighted to see this has been formally recognised with a rosette which is very well deserved and we hope will encourage even more people to sample the superb menu on offer at the Penmorvah Manor.”
