Falmouth-based Cornish Diving Centre is under new ownership and will be holding an open weekend this weekend (June 11/12) to celebrate.

Matthew and Susan Disley have introduced hundreds of people to scuba diving since 2012 through the Padi 5 Star Cornish Diving School. Master instructor, Keith Dimond, and local business man and dive master, Michael Bailey, have been working with Matt and Sue for the last year. They have brought fresh and vibrant ideas and plans to the centre aimed at encouraging diving in Cornwall, particularly given the under water wonders on our doorstep in Falmouth Bay.

Significant investment has been made with the purchase of a new compressor and continuous Nitrox blending system. This enables Nitrox fills to be carried out accurately and efficiently. The new on site heated pool means training can be completed on site, with more time in the water for skill mastery and ensuring every student is comfortable and happy with their progression.

To celebrate the new ownership, the centre in Bar Road will hold an open weekend this Saturday and Sunday (June 11 and 12). The pool will be open for a Padi pool party with free discover Scuba sessions being run throughout the weekend. Special open weekend discounts will be available in the shop and divers will be able to take advantage of free air Fills (limited to two tanks per diver per day). Anyone booking on to the PADI open water course over the weekend will receive a free mask and snorkel.
