The Linen Rooms at Merchants Manor Hotel in Falmouth has been voted winner of the Muddy Stilettos Best Day Spa Awards.

With almost half of all votes cast, the 39-bedroom hotel, easily beat competition from Cowshed at St Moritz, The Scarlet Spa, The Headland Spa and C. Spa at Carbis Bay.

Muddy Stilettos is a popular and award winning lifestyle blog and its awards celebrate the very best places, spaces and businesses across Cornwall. Over 150 Cornish companies were nominated for awards and around 20,000 people voted across 25 categories for their favourite local businesses.

“We only opened Linen Rooms a few months ago so we’re delighted to have won this award,” said owner Sioned Parry-Rudlin. “Linen Rooms represents all that we are aiming to achieve at Merchants Manor – we’re a small hotel with a big heart.

“For us it’s all about personal service and our small size allows us to provide guests with a luxurious and individual experience unlike anywhere else in Cornwall. The treatment menu offers genuinely innovative treatments that you can’t find elsewhere.”

The Linen Rooms provide a truly immersive experience and guests leave feeling several inches taller once complementary therapists Sarah Greenhalgh, Alex Holbrooke and Jamie Drysdale have finished working their magic.

All products used in Linen Rooms are produced locally by Cornish skincare experts Inlight - the UK’s first 100 per cent organic skincare brand.

The Linen Rooms Spa is part of a recent £500,000 investment programme in Merchants Manor’s Health and Well-being Centre. Alongside the maritime inspired treatment rooms, relaxation areas, an indoor heated pool, outdoor barrel sauna, aromatherapy steam room, jet pool and state-of-the-art fitness suite complete the award winning day spa experience.
