Blue Flame Expands Team

One of Cornwall’s leading heating and renewable specialists has continued its commitment to growth by expanding its team of engineers.

Penryn-based Blue Flame Heating Solutions has taken on three new members of staff, as well as created a summer intern position.

The company, which was founded in 1988, now employs 108 staff to support its 12,000 heating, electrical, plumbing and renewables customers across Cornwall.

Joining the responsive repair team are Miranda Vanier and Lauren Webb, while Chris Cole has joined the electrical department.

Intern Jowan Chapman will work with Blue Flame over the summer.

Blue Flame operations director, Mark Bolitho, said: “Blue Flame is an ambitious, people-led organisation that aims to support a range people across Cornwall.

“Our message is simple: we do. It ensures that our customers can focus on life, or business, knowing they are covered by our team.

“By adding Miranda, Lauren and Chris to the team, as well as supporting Jowan in his development, we are increasing our commitment to current and future clients.”

The company also runs the Blue Flame Training Academy with Cornwall College and will begin training a new cohort on apprentices in August.
