Women in Property (WiP) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) regional branches came together recently to host the first annual boat trip for property and construction professionals in Cornwall.

The event saw over 70 men and women enjoy a Cornish pasty and Skinners ale, while sailing up the River Fal.

Sarah Greenslade, chairman of WiP Devon and Cornwall branch, and Jane Hamlyn, chair of RIBA Cornwall, organised the event to bring people together from both of their professional networks, as well as many more from across the industry in Cornwall. There were also attendees who had travelled from Plymouth and Exeter to join in the festivities.

Jane Hamlyn, architect at Atelier 3, said: “It was fantastic to see such a good mix of professionals from across the industry and to combine business with a chance to take in the stunning Cornish scenery. We look forward to next year.”
