Residents in Cornwall have been told it’s not too late to apply to study a university course in the county from this September.

Truro and Penwith College, with its state-of-the-art facilities, a community feel and smaller class sizes, offers many foundation degrees as well as level six courses to top it up to a full bachelor’s degree.

The college has been offering higher education for around 20 years and, with strong links with Plymouth University and Pearson, a quality degree in beautiful Cornwall is assured.

Ian Woodland from Truro, who has just graduating with a first class BSc honours degree in sports performance and coaching said he chose Truro and Penwith College “for the smaller class sizes and the academic and pastoral support.”

His wife, Debbie, who is also graduating from the same degree and with the same result, said: “It has been amazing studying at Truro and Penwith College”.

She added: “I have dyslexia and being able to speak to lecturers and having them on a one-to-one basis has been really helpful.”
