Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has recently recruited a new member of staff to ensure its existing business membership remain satisfied and to build capacity to cope with the increase in new members joining the chamber.
Paul Holmes has been appointed as business relationship and account manager and is responsible for growing membership numbers and ensuring all members take full and regular advantage of the opportunities, activities and benefits available through membership.
Paul worked at the Eden Project for seven years as sustainable business development manager where he had responsibility for maintaining business relationships across Eden’s extended supply-chain, promoting sustainable operations, increasing business resource efficiency and supporting the transition to a low carbon economy.
More recently, he worked at Cornwall Marine Network in Falmouth supporting the delivery of EU funded development projects for the marine offshore renewable sector, supporting its growth and range of activities by forging strong links with businesses.
Kim Conchie, chief executive of the chamber, said: “I’m delighted to have a new enthusiastic and professional member of staff on board and I’m sure the wealth of experience Paul brings with him will be invaluable to our members.”
Any business based in Cornwall considering membership should contact the chamber on 01209 216006 and ask to speak with Paul to get a better understanding of the benefits of membership.
