Jewellery designer Tom Cowell has linked with craftsman James Keir to create a new range of handcrafted, classic, contemporary and British made jewellery.

The pair launched the Origin range of jewellery at their newly formed company, Tintang, named after the Tintang mine near St Day which was one of the largest copper mines in the world. Copper, gold and silver are the metals Tintang uses to make its exclusive and affordable bracelets, bangles, rings, earrings and pendants.

Tom studied design at Falmouth University and has been working with James for some months to create a range of original and stylish jewellery of enduring quality and beauty.

He said: “James and I met some time ago when I was studying at Falmouth. We quickly found that we had a passion for creating and making unique and beautiful objects and a mutual commitment to innovate and stretch the boundaries of technical excellence and craftsmanship.

"Tintang is the natural progression of our passions and ambitions and has given us the perfect platform to express our creative and manufacturing skills. We are incredibly excited about the potential and future of our jewellery."
