Cornish born David Jenkin, who grew up at St Anthony-in-Meneage near Helford, has returned to the county to take up a new job with Savills Cornwall.

With eight years’ experience in the property industry, David joins the team from Winkworth in Putney where he marketed prime residential property. His role at Savills will focus on the marketing of coastal and country property across the county.

David went to Polwhele School in Truro before moving away to Dorset. He was a chorister at Truro Cathedral during his youth and both raced and taught at the Helford Sailing Club. He worked on the boats in St Anthony during university holidays and then, following a move to London, worked in the City as a ship-broker before moving in to property agency.

Jonathan Cunliffe, director and head of office at Savills in Cornwall, said: “We welcome David back to Cornwall and to the team. His experience and approach to the role is already proving beneficial to both the team and our clients.”
