Following on from retaining gold Investors in People accreditation against the new, and significantly more challenging, Sixth Generation Framework, TRAC are reflecting on another successful annual review meeting.

Investors in People specialises in transforming business performance through investment in the people working within an organisation. With their Gold award, TRAC, who based at the Pool Innovation Centre, find themselves in the top 14 per cent of over 140,000 organisations.

Company director, Sarah Trethowan said: "Our people are critical to our business growth and the Investors in People programme helps us ensure our annual investments are targeted at the right things to encourage employee satisfaction and business growth.

"We know that by investing in our people we are having a significant effect on our bottom line. Last year we saw a ten per cent increase in business growth with a 31 per cent increase in our client numbers. We also retained 81 per cent of our clients from the previous year, which we know is down to the excellent service our team delivered. With 25 per cent of our workforce having been with the company for more than ten years, we’re confident that our high employee satisfaction levels translates into our successful business growth.”

Carolyn Inger, the assessor for the Investors in People award said: “It is always a real pleasure to work with TRAC as they continually focus on being the best they can be, respond positively to feedback and take really effective action to improve, whilst always involving their staff in identifying the best ways to do this.

"Their exceptional achievements as a business and as an Investor in People are testament to the ongoing commitment and positive approach of the directors and management team to enabling their people to be their best.”
