Beattie, the creative communications group, has opened an office in Helston which will serve Cornwall and Devon.

Beattie veteran Amanda Fry has established the new office and her remit is to win business and grow the team.

Amanda served in Beattie’s London office for 15 years but snapped up the opportunity to return to Cornwall where she was born to establish a hub in the south west.

London-headquartered Beattie now has nine offices in the UK. Its network spans Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Central and the south east.

Amanda said: “We already have a strong client base in the south west and I’m looking forward to wining more business and growing the team.”

Announcing the new office, Beattie CEO Laurna Woods said: “The south west is the last piece in our nationwide jigsaw. No one has a bigger network of offices in the UK than Beattie and I’m sure Amanda will quickly grow our client base and our team.”

Beattie is an integrated communications-led marketing consultancy offering PR, social, mobile, digital, data and creative services. It has 12 industry specialist teams including health, tech and travel and tourism.

Beattie Group trades under three standalone brands – Beattie; 11ten, its education and international student recruitment brand; and Only Marketing, its range of ultra-specialist marketing boutiques. Beattie Group recently signed Saatchi & Saatchi global chief Kevin Roberts as chairman and recruited Grayling CEO Alison Clarke to head up its Only Marketing brand.
