A Falmouth makeup artist is celebrating after winning an award at the South West Wedding Awards, beating other entrants from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
Stacey Cremin runs a small makeup and beauty studio in Falmouth, which she opened in January last year, having worked in the field for almost 12 years.
Stacey said: "As my category was announced first, I felt my heart racing as they announced the other finalists. But to hear my name called I felt very overwhelmed, very proud and beyond happy - I cried, a lot."
She added: "The presenters, Victoria and Matt from Heart FM breakfast show, were really lovely."
The South West Wedding Awards celebrated their 10th anniversary this year, and recognise those businesses which exceed the expectations for their customers, providing outstanding service and inspiring their customers to want to actively and positively promote them.
