A litigation executive from Coodes Solicitors has been given two accreditations by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), the leading national organisation for personal injury law.

Catherine Hyde, who is based in Coodes’ Falmouth office, has been awarded APIL’s quality mark for her expertise in seeking justice for people who have been injured in an accident that was not their fault.

She has received two accreditations from APIL, achieving recognition both as a litigator and a portal claims handler. This reflects her breadth of experience of advising clients on large and small claims. Being accredited by APIL demonstrates Catherine’s commitment to acting in the best interest of clients, and her breadth of experience in advising clients.

Catherine is Cornwall’s only litigation executive to receive both the portal claims handler and litigator accreditations from APIL. To achieve the accreditations, she had to submit a detailed portfolio showcasing her five years’ experience of handling a wide range of personal injury claims for clients.

She said: “Achieving this recognition means a lot because it is based on the quality of my work and the breadth of my experience. I am especially proud to be the only Cornwall-based litigation executive to have been recognised in this way. I hope my accreditations help Coodes to continue to grow its reputation as being one of the region’s leading law firm for personal injury and clinical negligence claims.”

Partner and head of Coodes Solicitors' personal injury and clinical negligence team, Tim Goldburn, said: “Congratulations to Catherine. This is an excellent achievement and testament to her commitment to the profession. We are delighted to have Cornwall’s only APIL accredited portal claims handler and litigator on our team.”
