Penryn-based heating, plumbing and electrical specialist, Blue Flame, has launched a new service plan to support a wider range of customers.

The plan offers a range of benefits including guaranteed engineer call-outs within 24 hours, fixed labour costs, discounts on labour and parts, all from £1.50 per month.

Sales manager, Duncan Impey, said: “We have over 12,000 customers across Cornwall accessing a range of support including installations and servicing. A big part of our business is responsive repairs and supporting customers who have an emergency. In 2016 we responded to over 11,200 emergency breakdowns, which means that priority is given to service plan holders.”

The new plan was developed after Blue Flame gathered feedback from non-service plan holders who stated they wanted peace of mind, but with a different entry level. Duncan added: “As a result we created Cornwall Cornwall as a great introduction for customers new to service plans, who want reassurance that they will get the support when they need it. It gives them peace of mind for emergency situations that someone is attending.”
