Polurrian Bay Hotel celebrates new development
THE great and the good gathered at the Polurrian Bay Hotel on The Lizard recently to celebrate the launch of its stunning new Vista lounge.
Featuring floor to ceiling windows and glass doors, the Vista offers an incredible outlook over Mounts Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
The “room with a view” in Cornwall, has large, comfy sofas, a bright, airy atmosphere and is the ideal spot to switch off, and absorb the ever-changing skyline and seascape, whatever the weather.
Owner Nigel Chapman said ‘We’re absolutely thrilled to be opening our new Vista lounge. From the first time I saw the property, I had a vision of maximizing the magnificent views, which are without doubt some of the best in Cornwall. The Vista enables us to do this, giving guests the chance to enjoy some of Cornwall’s finest food with a backdrop to take your breath away.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors into this wonderful space, whether you’re staying at the hotel or simply popping in for a coffee or a light lunch.”
Perched on the cliffs amongst 12 acres of landscaped gardens, with south facing views across Mounts Bay and the Atlantic Ocean on Cornwall's Lizard peninsula, the Polurrian Bay Hotel is part of the Luxury Family Hotels collection.
Re-launched in July 2011, following an imaginative make-over of the public areas, it has 41 bedrooms and offers a homely house party style atmosphere, great, locally sourced food and an array of children’s facilities.
