Tremough hosts free stress seminar

Cornwall business managers are being invited to a free one hour seminar hosted by LifeMOT CIC at Tremough Innovation Centre, Penryn, on Wednesday July 25.

Called Promoting Positive Management Behaviour, it will develop and improve their skills, abilities and behaviour to prevent and reduce stress at work. Stress is now the number one cause of long term sickness and absence from work (People management Oct 2011).

The seminar will be facilitated by LifeMOT trainers Angela Coote and Amanda Hudson, both experienced trainers and NLP practitioners, who have come together to form a new community interest company committed to building strong communities, encouraging healthy and more active people and a healthy workforce.

Director Amanda Hudson said: “As well as being a legal requirement, it is very important that managers look after their own health and wellbeing and that of their staff. A healthy workforce will lead to increased productivity, aid staff retention and this will ultimately impact on the wider community.”
