Police in Cornwall are reminding owners of generators to take some simple steps to prevent their machines from being stolen after three went missing in the county over the past few weeks.
These thefts have mainly taken place from building sites.
Owners are asked to review their security and either note the serial number of mark the engine in some way so as to make it identifiable.
Anyone who has any information regarding the theft of these generators is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference AC/08/1319.
