A 34-year-old man from St Agnes has been arrested on suspicion of burglary following a 999 call at 5pm yesterday.
Police officers received a report that a man was breaking into a building used as a store in the Trevellas area.
Officers attended the area and made an arrest after a short search.
The arrested man was taken to Newquay custody where he will be interviewed.
