EVEN though times are tough for many, multiple properties across Cornwall have been sold for a whopping seven figures this year.

Here are some of the most expensive properties sold in 2023 in the TR11 postcode, according to the Land Registry. Flushing and Port Navas appear to be the most expensive places to buy a home in this postcode.

Belvedere, Trefusis Road, Flushing is the most expensive property to be sold this year for an eye-watering £3,900,000 in February 2023.

It had been significantly upgraded in recent years and includes a heated swimming pool, gated driveway and ample parking.

It also has direct access to the water. It has direct access to beach and water with one acre established gardens, lawns and terraces as well as a detached garage/workshop.

The value of the property had increased by 152% since it last sold in November 2017 for £1,550,000.

The next most expensive property to be sold in the Falmouth postcode this year was Poltoge in Port Navas for a whopping £3,125,000, also in February this year (a good month for the estate agents!).

However the property was last sold in June 2022 for £2,000,000 giving the sellers a whopping £1,125,000 profit.

Spread over 3,078 square feet it is one of the largest properties in the village - it is ranked as the most expensive property in TR11 5RL, with a valuation of £3,117,000.

Since it last sold in February 2023 for £3,125,000, its value has decreased by £8,000.

Built between 1930 and 1949, the property has sold twice over the last 25 years, with the longest owner staying for 24 years.

Described as a stunning and unique waterside property Bosulla, Budock Vean Lane, Falmouth sold in January of this year for £2,500,000.

The next most expensive property to be sold in the TR11 postcode was back in Trefusis Road, Flushing practically next door the most expensive property sold; Belvedere.

Amazingly 48 Trefusis Road, Flushing, known as Water’s Edge, has been sold twice this year for £1.5m in April and then for an incredible return at £2,239,000 in June.

Built in the 1920's, Waters Edge was for sale for the first time in 30 years. It was described as occupying an exceptional south-facing plot in one of the most desirable and valuable addresses on the south Cornish coast.
