Bunkering has picked up this past week in Falmouthwith a steady stream of ships arriving to take on fuel.
In the next four days the following vessels are expected, Grande Melissa, Genco Constantine, Andean, Praetorius, Lady Martine, Seafriend, Mississipporg and Federal Saguenay.
The coaster Sea Breeze has moved from the River Fal lay-up berths to the docks to discharge her cargo of limestone. The ship started to sink in March when near Lizard Point. Her six man crew were airlifted to safety.
The ship was taken in tow to St Austell Bay and eventually to Fowey. Later when declared safe she was brought to Falmouth where she has remained all summer.
