THE Fred Olsen Cruise Lines cruise ship Balmoral arrives today from Southampton at the start of her UK Islands and Landmarks cruise.
The 43,500-ton Balmoral (ex Crown Odyssey, ex Norwegian Crown) can carry 1,350 passengers.
From Falmouth, the ship will call at Belfast, Stornoway, Kirkwall,
Lerwick, Invergordon Newcastle and Southampton.
Next year the Fred Olsen ships Braemar and Boudicca will call a total of five times between them with Boudicca doing two back to back Falmouth to Falmouth cruises. The 28,000 tons Boudicca will start her 12-night Canary Islands and Portugal Spring Break cruise from Falmouth on April 12, 2016.
On Sunday, April 24 she will embark passengers at the docks for her ten-night Land’s End to John o’Groats cruise.
