The European cruise season is slowly winding down now as the mega cruise ships prepare to head south for the autumn and winter.
Princess Cruises Caribbean Princess arrives on Sunday morning on her Iceland, Greenland and British Isles Explorer cruise which will eventually take her to New York.
From Falmouth she calls at Dublin, Glasgow, Reykjavik, Iceland, Qaqortoq, Greenland, St John’s, Newfoundland and New York. The 290 metre long vessel built at a cost of $500 million is expected to anchor just south of Black Rock to allow her 3,000 passengers and crew to be tendered ashore for excursions around Cornwall.
