Up The Creek boat trips raise charity cash

Up The Creek boat trips organised and run by Alan and Ann Cox have raised hundreds of pounds for local charities over the years.

The July trips made £250 for the RNLI and £111 for the Cornwall Hospice Care. These popular excursions which leave from Falmouth to explore the creeks and crannies of our beautiful estuary up as far as Truro are well subscribed.

Only two Up The Creek trips are left this season one of which is sold out. Started by the late Peter Gilson, a keen local historian, the venture was taken over by Alan and Ann when he died.

These trips are about four hours in duration costing £9.50 with a pasty and a commentary. Call 01326 316716 for details.
