The annual end of season |fireworks spectacular at Flambards on Wednesday, October 30, promises to be out of this world and the highlight of half-term week.

Widely acknowledged as the county’s biggest and best regular pyrotechnic display, this year the event will have an Alien theme.

In the run-up to the main, |mid-week, extravaganza Flambards favourite, Titan, will be entertaining the half-term crowds with fun and frivolity on Monday, October 28.

On fireworks day itself everyone is invited to wear extraterrestrial fancy dress ready for a |competition to be judged during the pre-firework Alien disco with Nite Flite in the Kingsford Venue. TV mystery buster, Scooby Doo, will be a VIP guest at the famous Helston-based park throughout the day and into the evening ready to meet and greet his fans and| followers.

Talented fire-eater and juggler, Cool Hand Luke, will also be |performing his daring and exciting pyrotechnic tricks.

The park will have extended opening hours on that day with last entry at 7pm and the rides operating until about 15 minutes before the firework display, which is planned for approximately 7.30pm.
