Park on the Prowl

There’s lots of family fun to be had at Paradise Park this half-term as the ‘Owl Prowl’ trail takes place from Saturday until November 3.

Although it is bound to give you goose bumps, the trail is a real hoot as you explore the grounds of the park hunting out the clues about these| creatures of the night. And when you complete all the answers your skills will be rewarded with a lovely sweet treat ... yum!

You can really get into the spirit of things by joining staff for the Halloween Disco with loads of JungleBarn fun and prizes for the best fancy dress from 3pm to 6pm on Halloween (Oct 31).

Tickets for children aged three and over cost £5, adults £3.95, or why not use your return ticket or season ticket.

Spooky food and homemade pumpkin soup will be available. As it is half-term there will be feeding times for the animals on the Fun Farm, the |penguins and otters, and the colourful lorikeets in the walk through the Australian Aviary. So for some ‘chilling entertainment’ head on down to Paradise Park and join in the ghoulish fun.

 

Devilishly good disco

Mullion Football Club host a Children’s Halloween Party on Sunday, October 27 and it promises to be frightfully good fun.

This annual event is in its third year and gaining in popularity each time. There will be a disco and fancy dress competition starting at 6.30pm and |finishing well before the witching hour at 9.30pm. The fancy dress will be judged at 7.30pm with prices for the under one, under fives, five to ten years, and ten years plus.

Entry is £3 per child and is free for members.

 

Frightfully good family fun

HEAD to Falmouth School on October 30, for a day of family fun.

Taking place from noon to 3pm, there will be a hole host of events to give you a taste of what the community has to offer. From a skate park to climbing wall, from arts and crafts to a bouncy |castle, the fun and informative day is perfect for parents and children alike. Entry is £1. Please sign in at reception.

 

Bugs have a ball at Heartlands 

Heartlands has a range of events over the half-term week from Pumpkin Carving and Bug Hotel Building and a ticket only Children’s Halloween Ball on October 31, between 2pm to 4pm.
