THE Masked Ball is on a roll as the biggest Halloween party in the west.

With Leftfield (DJ set), Sister Bliss, from Faithless, and Phil Hartnoll from Orbital, taking up the headline spots, this is shaping up to be one monster night out. If that wasn’t enough 60 other dance DJs make up the entertainment.

Also added to the line up is the new. The Ghost Ship venue.The Ghost Ship is a large undercover area themed on a 17th century galleon ship - |complete with decks, rigging and a figurehead. The cargo is a treasure trove of top production and an exciting line-up of DJs.

Renowned performance troupe Kernow Scare Attractions are curating the whole Masked Ball complex with a hoard of grizzly sideshows that include grinders, contortionists, |suspensions, piercings, stiltwalkers and creepy clowns.

Cornish theatre troupe Incandescence, who have toured with Fatboy Slim and the Ministry of Sound, will be presenting the Carnival of the Damned at the Masked Ball.

The Carnival of the Damned is a fantastical world, a journey into a lavishly decorated tent, with a Tim Burton twist. Hosted by dark carnie characters, expect the unexpected with zombie stilt dancing girls, bearded ladies, twisted dark clowns and fabulous circus freak shows.

Tickets for the Masked Ball are on sale online at www.maskedball.net. The Masked Ball takes place on Friday and Saturday at Rosuick Organic Farm, St Keverne.

A family event, The Creepy Crawly Ball, with games for children, fairground rides and a UFO alien disco, takes place on Friday, from 4pm to 7.30pm. Admission for children is free, but adult tickets are £5 from www.creepycrawlyball.co.uk
