YOU can travel from Penwith to Paris and back again this Saturday at a premiere |screening at the Telegraph Museum Porthcurno.

International artist Emilia Telese presents the UK premiere of her Cornwall-based short art film Life Begins at Land’s End followed by the world premiere of her follow-up piece Life Has Begun at Land’s End at a special public screening this Saturday from 6pm.

Shot on Porthcurno beach in 2013, Life Begins at Land’s End featured expectant mothers living in Penwith and explored themes of fertility, birth and life rituals.

The project was part of World Rebirth Day 2013; a global project described as a worldwide day of change. The film was then screened at the Louvre in Paris as part of renowned Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto’s exhibition Michelangelo Pistoletto: Annee' Un - Le Paradis Sur Terre.
