It’s summertime at the Maritime Museum in Falmouth which means there’s a whole host of family fun for the holidays.
Avast ye to the Smuggler’s Cove Play Zone, full of colourful characters from Cornwall’s past.
Play cops and robbers and rummage like a revenue man or dress up to conceal the contraband.
Touch and smell the illicit items and see who can hide their haul the quickest. And that’s not all.
From monster masks to pirate hats there’s a different theme every week and free creative craft activities every day until September 3.
There will also be a number of firm favourites returning for the summer, including crabbing from the museum’s pontoon and Douglas Dapper the Story Explorer will be back every Tuesday with more weird and wonderful adventures.
On Thursday’s there will be extra special events including hands-on history activities, storytelling sessions, animation workshops and meet the crew days.
