An escaped dinosaur who has been causing prehistoric panic across the Eden Project this summer will be staying at the home of the Biomes for an extra five days due to popular demand.

The running, roaring Tyrannosaurus rex has been wreaking havoc around Eden |during each day of this summer’s Dinosaurs Unleashed season and she will continue now until Sunday.

Dinosaurs Unleashed has been one of the Eden Project’s most successful summer seasons of recent years.

Rita Broe, Eden’s marketing director, said: “Dinosaurs Unleashed has been a roaring |success for us this summer and our visitors have really enjoyed meeting our rampaging rex.

“She has surprised, delighted and terrified thousands of people over the holidays so we’re very pleased she wants to extend her stay here.”

From September 8 to 16, Eden will feature a reduced Dinosaurs Unleashed programme, featuring the Crater of the Tyrant King – an immersive |experience with a life-sized T-Rex and Triceratops – and a dinosaur fossil exhibit in The Core.

Dinosaurs Unleashed will return to the Eden Project, even bigger and better, in summer 2015.
