The Seal Sanctuary in Gweek has some added sparkle this month as it welcomes a little bit of Stardust...

Stardust is a rescued grey seal pup, the first of many that will find itself lost or injured on the Cornish coast. Separated from her mum, she was found on the rocks of Gwithian beach. Although showing no visible injuries, Stardust was so hungry she was found suckling on the rocks, which has given her a sore muzzle. Now in safe hands, the Animal Care Team ensure that she is getting the best of care.

Visitors to the attraction find that despite the autumnal weather, this is one of the best times to visit. After all who could resist such adorable new residents?

With between 30 to 50 pups expected each year the Sanctuary like to plan ahead with the names of the new pups. This year the theme that has been |chosen is Super Heroes.

To make the most of this time of year the Sanctuary has introduced the new Pup Pass - an exclusive pass that allows you to visit as many times as you like between September to February for just £15.
