THERE will be thrills and chills across the county this half-term as Hallowe’en descends... from devilish discos to ghostly games. Here are a few spooktacular events...

The Four winds Inn on Dracaena Avenue, Falmouth hosts its annual Children’s Hallowe’en Party on Saturday.

Get in the spirit from 2pm to 4pm with childrens' entertainer Tarquin - there’ll be games, party bags, prizes and spook fun for all. Don’t forget your fancy dress!

SPOOKY shenanigans are guaranteed at the Maritime Museum on Friday as families can spend a fun filled evening making monster masks, bloodcurdling badges and trick or treat baskets.

Everyone is encouraged to get into the spirit of things by wearing fancy dress and taking part in a costume parade. As darkness falls set off on a torch lit tour of the museum..

Mullion FC host a spooktacular Hallowe’en disco this Sunday. Entry is £3 per child with adults and members admitted free. The fun starts at 5.30pm and runs until 8.30pm.

Falmouth Art Gallery host a spooky make and take on Hallowe’en from 1pm to 3pm you can make puppets - the event is free and suitable for all ages.

Lizard CHILD Trust hosts a fangtastic celebration for children at Helston FC on Friday. There will be games, music and food for all. Tickets are £1.50 for children and adult 50p each. The event runs from 3.30pm to 5.30pm from 01326 573338.

The Cornish Seal Sanctuary have some otterly scary games on offer. Dress up and walk the witches’ wood trail, take part in some spooky badge making before heading to the creepy cafe to fill up on devilish delights.

There’s plenty of Hallowe’en entertainment at Paradise Park, Hayle this half-term with an Owl Prowl trail and spooktacular Hallowe’en disco in the JungleBarn from 3pm to 6pm.

It’s £5 for kids and for adults just £3.99 each.

Pendennis Castle in Falmouth has tricks and treats for young and old this Hallowe’en.

Young adventurers can get in the spooky spirit with the ‘Ghosts and Ghouls’, try creepy crafts and go ghost hunting. Then after hours it will be the grown-ups turn as it offers spooky evening tours. Pendennis Castle will host Spooky Tours at 7.30pm on Thursday, October 30 to Saturday, November 1. Tickets are £15, call 0870 3331183.

Penryn-based charity and outdoor activity centre, BF Adventure, will be opening its gates to the public for its very first Spooky Night Walk this Hallowe’en.

From 7pm to 9pm on Friday you tackle challenges including Broomstick Lessons on a zip wire and crossing the Sea of Souls on a raft.
