The hugely-popular Christmas at Eden season starts on November 29 and as well as meeting Father Christmas and sharing his enchanting story, visitors can enjoy a unique new twilight |discovery experience in the Rainforest, complete with starry trees and glittering glades.

WildWorks theatre company have been working to combine the magic of Christmas with the unique tropical surroundings of Eden’s Rainforest Biome.

Choirs, ice-skating, reindeer, |fabulous festive food and seasonal craft workshops ensure that Eden helps put the magic into Christmas with something for every member of the family.

Emma Hogg, Eden live |programme producer, said: “While the weather will be wintry outside, |visitors can discover twilight magic as our rainforest comes alive for the evening and they will happen across unexpected moments of festive loveliness.”

Emma added: “This year Father Christmas and his elves will be telling a new spellbinding story in an enchanting show that will delight children and big kids alike.

“Visitors will be able to begin their magical experience by |discovering the reindeer grazing in their paddock before following a special Christmas trail around Eden, leading to Father Christmas’s grotto next to our lovely ice rink. Then they can warm up in the Rainforest.”

Eden’s rink - ten years old this year – is set in a fun, themed |winter woodland. There are sessions to suit everyone from toddlers to young children, absolute beginners and novices.

Those who like to watch from the sidelines can grab a hot| chocolate or mulled cider and cheer on their friends and family.

General skating sessions cost £6 per person on top of Eden Project admission.

Father Christmas will be taking residence at Eden on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 29 to December 14 and then every day from December 15 to Christmas Eve.
