There won’t be any fluffy bunnies or even a chocolate egg in sight at Pendennis Castle this Easter, instead get set for time-traveling adventures.

A troupe of pesky pirates and terrible Tudors will be providing the Easter entertainments from March 30 to April 10.

The scourge of the sea will be the stars of the show with Pirates Ahoy! at Pendennis. Budding young buccaneers can dust off their cutlasses as they head to the castle for fearsome tales of Pendennis’ pirating past and dastardly deeds on the high seas.

In the second week of the |holidays the Tudors step into the spotlight with Tudor Castle Capers.

Be transported back in time over 400 years and imagine life in Henry VIII’s mighty coastal fortress. Young history hunters will have a historic day out as they join in with have-a-go battle drills, learn the art of knot tying, take part in hands-on kids’ activities, and be spellbound by stories of days gone by. A family friendly way to get hands on with history.

Pirates Ahoy! runs from Monday, March 30 to Friday, April 3 and Tudor Castle Capers runs from Monday, April 6 to Friday, April 10.

Entry is £7.50 for adults, £4.50 for children £4.50, English Heritage members free. Activities cost an additional £1 for each child.
