There’s a lot going on this Easter at National Trust properties in West Cornwall. It’s the time of year when Cadbury joins forces with the staff and volunteers to offer families the ultimate day out with their popular Easter Egg Trails and there are plenty of other activities for families besides.

This year, the Cadbury Eggsplorers Easter Egg Trail April 3 to 6, will be inviting families to unleash their inner explorer with adventures in some of the most amazing locations across West Cornwall. These include East Pool Mine, Godolphin, Levant Mine and Beam Engine and Trengwainton Garden.

Join in the footsteps of the great plant hunting eggsplorers at Trengwainton; solve a puzzling mystery at East Pool Mine; go on an eggventure at Godolphin and discover farming links that are still alive today; and enjoy a lively helping of history at Levant Mine to discover what it was like working there as a Victorian girl or boy.

What’s more once you complete your trail you will receive a delicious Cadbury chocolaty treat at the end.

Trevithick Tuesdays are running on the April 7 and 14 at East Pool Mine giving everyone the chance to do some hands-on science and understand some of the ideas behind the engines. Godolphin Seed planting day is on the April 9. Come along to meet the gardeners and sow some seeds to take home to grow.

The Cadbury Easter Trails run at all the above National Trust properties from 10.30am to 4pm over the Easter weekend. Normal admission applies; free entry for members. Trail cost £2 each. To join in with the fun, visit www.eastereggtrail.com
