As part of a season of Great British Walks being run by the National Trust the Godolphin estate are running a series of themed walks around the grounds.

Tomorrow, Thursday October 15 a group will be lead around the copper mining areas of the estate while a guide will explain about the impact of this industry on the surrounding areas. People will be cast back in time when copper mining took place by looking around the remains still visible to this day.

This walk is two and half to three miles long and will take around two hours.

The walk starts at 11am and the group will be meeting at the front by the piggery. Dogs are welcome on leads. For further details call: National Trust Godolphin on: 01736 763194.
